Mt. 11:28

Hendersonville Christian School is a K-12 Christian day school committed to a Biblical standard of spiritual and academic excellence. We believe that every child is made in the image of God and has unique talents and needs. Hendersonville Christian School provides a program which enables each child to grow spiritually, academically, socially and physically so that he or she is equipped for service to God. We are committed to a Biblical standard of excellence for the glory of God in all that we do. We believe that anything worth learning should be learned well and the role of the teacher is to ensure that learning occurs for every student. We have focused our curriculum on a select group of core and complementary subjects which we strive to teach extremely well!

Hendersonville Christian School is an independent interdenominational school not linked to any particular church.  A board of nine members elected from the school association governs the school.  The school family is diverse in convictions and preferences but united in the faith of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and its commitment to serving Him.

The Objectives of Hendersonville Christian School are as follows:

  • To see the students have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
  • To instill in the students a love for the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word.

  • To prepare students to serve God effectively.

  • To challenge students to think clearly, logically, and independently.

  • To offer an instructional program that meets the needs of each student.

  • To develop within each student an understanding of the world in which he lives and an ability to appreciate and contribute to the community in which he lives.

  • To help students master the tools of learning and communication.

  • To help each student develop a sense of personal responsibility as an involved educated citizen.
