ENROLL AT HCS

 

The following is our Tuition Fee and Payment Schedule for Kindergarten through Grade 12. We feel that our low tuition is one of the most pleasant features of Hendersonville Christian School.


2008/09 TUITION & FEES

 

             Application fee:   $150 incoming students                                                               $100 - K4, K5 Half Day                                                               $50 returning students until April 1, 2008                                                               ($150 after April 1, 2008)                                                        Maximum $400 per family - This fee is nonrefundable.  

             Entrance Testing - $50 - K4 - 12th grade                                                               Maximum $150 per family - This fee is nonrefundable. 

             Enrollment Fees (Grades K4-12):                                                                          $250 - Incoming students                                                                                $175 - For returning students until April 1, 2008.                                                     (After April 1, 2008 fee increases to $250)                                             Maximum $750 per family - This fee is nonrefundable after Jun 30

             Tuition:                                                                                                                    K4-K5 1/2 day - $300/month for 10 months (July-April)                                 K5 (Full Day) - $478/month for 10 months (July-April)                                                              $399/month for 12 months (June-May)                                            Grades 1-5 -    $555/month for 10 months (July-April)                                                                      $462/month for 12 months (June-May)                                Grades 6-12 -  $566/month for 10 months (July-April)                                                                   $472/month for 12 months (June-May)                             

                                  OTHER FEES                                                                     Activity Fees (Grades K4-12):                                                                               $250 per student - can be paid over the course of the year in three                      payments of $80/$90/$80                                                                                     *This fee takes the place of other charges and requests for money over                the course of the year. You will not be asked for any money for field                    trips, class projects, or the $25 Elementary Classroom Supply fee. This                fee also includes fine arts,athletics and yearbook fees.                                    Does not include spirit wear, grade or class specific school supplies,                school uniforms, school pictures, graduation fees, camps or activites                 that take place after school hours.

     Part Time Students:                                                                                     Application Fee - $100                                                                                Enrollment Fee -  $150                                                                                  Tuition -  $1200 per course; $600 due at the beginning of each                    semester.

     Foreign Exchange Students:                                                                        Tuition - $6900 includes all fees, spirit clothing, and items needed to            participate in extra curricular activities.                                                       $3500 due on or before the firest day of each semester.            

     School Uniform Package:                                                                              $100 per student grades 6-12, $75 per student grades K5-5th.

     Eigth Grade Washington Trip (optional):                                                      $400 estimate

      Senior Trip (optional):                                                                                   $800 estimate

                      Discovery Center (NILD) Fees           

      NILD Therapy: Grades 3-12 - $300 per year                                                   Student meet one-on-one with a therapist two times per week for               1 1/2 hours per session. If a student receives NILD therapy, other                Discovery Center services are discounted 50%

      Search/Teach: Grades K5-2 - $2000 per year                                                 One-on-one early childhood intervention; 30 minutes three times per        week.

      Diagnostic Testing/Monitoring: Grades 1-12 - $50-$450 per student -            depending on services.

      Multi-Grade Classroom: Grades 1-12 - $1200 single course/$500 each           additional course up to three periods per day, 5 days per week.

      Tutorial Study Hall: Grades 4-12 - $35 per hour 2-5 days per week             depending upon grade level schedule.

      Speech Therapy: Grades 1-12 - $65 per session. Contracted through            independant therapist.

       Reading Intervention: Grades K5-12 - $50 per session Lindamood Bell         Services.

       Tuition Assistance: Determined on individual basis.

Discounts

       Discounts do not apply to fees.

       Pastor's discount 5%: Must be ordained pastor serving in a local               church in the area.

       Payment of tuition in full 3%: Must be paid in full by July 1, 2008.

       Multi-child discount 3%: Discounts applied after the first child's tuition.

       Tuition Assistance up to 50%: Must be applied for by June 1, 2008.             Amount determined by independent organization not associated with         HCS.

  • Families awarded tuition assistance must log up to 20 volunteer        hours per semester at the school.
  • Students receiving tuition assistance must maintain a 2.0 GPA with no failing grades and exhibit behavior consistent with the HCS handbook.
  • Assistance is limited.

      Other discounts do not apply if receiving tuition assistance.

         Notes:                                                         

 Transcripts are available for $5.00 each. (after graduation)

                      Payments are due on the 1st of each month.

                      First payment is due by June 1, 2008.

                      Tuition is our main source of revenue. It is imperative that we                                 receive payment on time. Therefore, a $20.00 late fee will be                            assessed if payments are not received in the school office by the                          close of business on the 15th of the month.

                       All fees must be paid prior to the last day of school.

                       Tuition for NEW STUDENTS registering after July 31st will be                                divided equally until May, 2009.  

                       There may be additional costs, and fees are subject to                                            change...Contact us for full details.
