2010/2011 Tuition & Fee Schedule

Fees—all fees are nonrefundable

Entrance Testing Fee—(Incoming Students only)   $50   (K5—12th grades)

Application Fee (K5—12th grades)   $150   ($400 family maximum)

Enrollment Fee (K5—12th grades)   $250   ($750 family maximum)

Activity Fee (K5—12th grades)   $250

***(The Activity Fee may be paid in three payments over the course of the school year with $80 due June 1st, $90 due August 1st, and $80 due November 1st.)

K4 (Half Day) (M-F) $300 per month; $3,000 per year (10 payments - Aug.-May)

K4 (Half Day) (M,W,F) $198 per month; $1,980 per year (10 payments - Aug.-May)

K5 (Full Day) $350 per month; $4,200 per year (12 payments - June-May)

Grades 1—5  $476 per month; $5,712 per year (12 payments - June-May)

Grades 6—12  $510 per month; $6,120 per year (12 payments - June-May)

Discovery Center/P.A.S.S. Program

NILD Therapy $250 per month; $3,000 per year

Multi-Grade Classroom $1,200 single course; $500 each additional course

Tutorial Study Hall $35 per hour

Orton-Gillingham Reading Intervention $35 per session

S.T.A.R. Program 30% of Tuition

Foreign Exchange Students

$7,455—Includes tuition and fees.  $3727.50 due on or before the first day of each semester. 

After School Care

After School Care is available to HCS students from 3pm—5:30pm on full school days.  The fee for this program is $10 per day or $100 per month.  Please register in the school office. 

HCS Super Summer Camp—Summer Camp hours are 7:30am—5:30pm.  More information to follow. 

2010/2011 Tuition and Fee Savings Schedule

We want to invite you to experience an exciting and challenging school experience at Hendersonville Christian School.   Established in 1961, Hendersonville Christian School is celebrating nearly 50 years of providing students with superior academics, competitive athletics, and inspiring arts in a responsible, social environment.  To celebrate these 50 years and in anticipation of the next 50 years of training our children in the way they should go, we are pleased to offer registration and tuition discounts to our current and new families for the 2010/2011 school year.  These discounts and credits are explained below.

Alumni Scholarship—$1,000 tuition scholarship for 2010/2011.  For new students enrolling for 2010/2011.  This scholarship is given by alumni of HCS/FCDS. 

Pastor’s Scholarship—$1,000 tuition scholarship for 2010/2011.  For new students enrolling for 2010/2011.  This scholarship is given to students selected by their pastor. 

Full Payment Discount—A 3% tuition discount will be given if tuition is paid in full by Friday, July 2, 2010. 

Pastor’s Discount—A 5% tuition discount is given to students of ordained pastors serving in a local church in the Hendersonville area. 

Multi-Child Discount—A 3% tuition discount is applied to 2nd and subsequent children from the same family. 

$250 Tuition Credit—A $250 tuition credit will be given to any current HCS family that recruits a new family to HCS, whose child(ren) then enroll and attend (grades K5 - 12).  In order to receive this credit, the new family must reference the current family’s name on the application as being influential in their decision to attend HCS. 

Families receiving tuition assistance are not eligible for additional tuition discounts and credits.       

Notes:

Transcripts are available for $5.00 each (after graduation).

Payments are due on the 1st of each month and late after the 10th of the month.   

First payment is due by June 1, 2010.

Tuition is our main source of revenue.  It is imperative that we receive payment on time.  Therefore, a $25.00 late fee will be assessed if payments are not received in the school office by the close of business on the 10th of the month.  If the 10th falls on a Saturday or Sunday, late fees will be assessed at the close of business on the Monday following.   

All fees must be paid prior to the last day of school. 

Tuition for NEW STUDENTS registering after July 31st will be divided equally until May, 2011.
