Service Projects Hendersonville Christian School believes that service to the community and beyond is an integral part of a Christian education. The 9th - 12th grade students are required to do 25 hours of yearly service, which can include participating in church mission trips, various work projects, and local service organizations. In the past, students have taken part in projects such as:
packing presents for Operation Christmas Child,
cleaning up at Bonclarken Conference Center (a Christian camp in the area),
and helping at a single mom's farm. Not only do these projects help people in need, they also bond students together in a unique way as they fulfill Jesus' command to serve others.
